About

I'm David Esber. Founder and CRO at Enviz, dad of two, in Sydney.

The tools here get built between the day job and bedtime. Nearly all of them started the same way: something annoyed me, the fix didn't exist, and building it was quicker than staying annoyed.

Why most of them are free

Building is the easy part. Getting anything in front of people is the hard part.

So the deal is simple. I give the tool away — no account, no upload, no catch — and if it helped, you follow along and catch the next one. That is the entire business model for the free ones, and it is why the follow matters more to me than the download.

Why a couple aren't

A small number of things I charge for. Those pay for the time that keeps everything else free. If that trade ever stops working, the free ones stay free anyway — that part isn't up for negotiation.

How they're built

The free tools do their work on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing sits on a server of mine, and there is no account to make. Where that isn't true of something, its own page says so plainly rather than burying it.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, which means I genuinely cannot tell you how many people have read this page.

Say hello

I read replies. If something here broke, or nearly worked but not quite, that is the most useful thing you can tell me.
